There are numerous vendors at the market offering handmade, homegrown, and secondhand goods to both tourists and locals. The market truly embodies its motto of “homemade, homegrown, and home-baked,” showcasing… a wide variety of handmade crafts, jewelry, clothing, home items, and artworks. After exploring and making purchases, you can enjoy a leisurely walk down the main street and indulge in a morning coffee or brunch at one of the many cafes.

The Forster Farmer’s Market takes place every third Saturday of the month, providing a wonderful chance to indulge in the freshest farm produce. This market aims to support local farmers and artisans by… showcasing their homegrown or homemade goods from the Barrington Coast and nearby areas. You can explore an array of fruits, vegetables, eggs, gourmet sauces, jams, preserves, pure honey, plants, and more. The market is actively seeking new produce stalls, especially those offering items not yet available at our regular market. Join us in promoting and savoring the best of local agriculture and craftsmanship!

This bustling open-air market is situated by the harbor near the bridge, conveniently visible from Tuncurry’s main street. It features local stallholders from the Barrington Coast region offering a wide… array of products, including handmade wooden toys and organic skincare items. Visitors can find diverse clothing options, an abundance of plants, and something to cater to every taste. Additionally, the market offers face painting and the renowned Marine Rescue barbecue.

This is a monthly event held on the last Sunday of each month. So once again shine up those cars and bikes, all are welcome. Again we will have a trophy and voucher for best in show, voucher for… runner up. We will be adding a trophy for best bike also. Don’t forget great food and coffee on-site. Bowls NSW Women’s State Carnival 2026! This annual event is played in teams of four and is open to all female bowlers from anywhere in Australia. With three days of guaranteed play for… participants, the State Carnival is a festival of bowls like no other! The event will take place between 4 – 8 May 2026 across the Barrington Coast region, with a number of Bowls clubs involved, with Forster Bowling Club the main host of the event.
